Lena developed an interest in body mechanics 15 years ago, while working as a personal trainer and modern dance instructor. In 2003 she added prenatal Pilates to her regimen after having to take a break from her dance endeavors. She has performed with contemporary and Latin styled groups from Los Angeles to Montreal and studied at the Aix-L’Ecole de Danse in southern France.
Lena has also studied a variety of Pilates styles including Joseph Pilate’s Classical, Ellie Herman’s technique as well as STOTT PILATES®. She has pursued a comprehensive STOTT PILATES® certification as well as a full pre/post-natal certification through the center of Women’s Fitness. She is trained in post-rehabilitation through Melissa Condron, physical therapist and owner of Streamline Bodyworks and specializes in sports performance enhancement.
